Only a leisurely 20-minute drive from Phuket International Airport along the west coast road giving you stunning views of the Andaman Sea all the way lays Layan and Laguna Phuket. Laguna Phuket is the name that has been given to the resort, homes and developments bordering the beautiful, unspoilt and virtually deserted beach along Bang Tao Bay which continues for a further three kilometres along the beach known locally as Layan. The beaches of both Bang Tao and Layan are simply stunning! The water is completely clean and safe for swimming most of the year and several superb and inexpensive fresh seafood restaurants right on the beach will serve you an unforgettable lunch or dinner.

Within five minutes drive of your Layan Gardens Residences home at Layan Gardens you have all the facilities and amenities that you will ever need to make your stay absolutely perfect! The Laguna Phuket resort area boasts four (soon to be five) 5–star hotels with over 20 restaurants and countless other facilities as well as the world renowned Banyan Tree Spa and the adjoining Laguna Phuket Golf Club. You can enjoy all the facilities of Laguna Phuket and even receive discounts on clothing, gifts as well as food and beverage throughout if you choose to become a member of the golf club, which we will gladly arrange for you. Also in Laguna is the super Canal Village centre featuring a 24 hour clinic, bakery and gourmet coffee shop, supermarket, restaurants, shops of all kinds and of course a bank.

Between Layan Gardens Residences and Laguna Phuket you will find Tinlay Place. Featuring Indian, British, Irish, Italian, Mediterranean, East West and Thai restaurants and bars there is a choice for every palate and desire. Several of the bars also feature live music most nights and a superb jazz and dance club entices revelers from all over the island. You will also find two spas, massage services, a dive centre, clothes, tailor’s shop, fabrics, gift and antique shops, a wine cellar and bar as well as a first class showrooms and shops at the Plaza Del Mar all within a hundred metres of each other. The local market featuring fresh meat, fish and vegetables plus shoes, clothes and many other items is held only 200 metres from Tinlay Place every Sunday from 11am and on a Wednesday evening.

The area around Layan Gardens Residences is a golfer’s paradise with the Laguna Phuket Golf Club on your doorstep, the renowned Blue Canyon Country Club with its Canyon and Lakes courses only 20 minutes drive north and the same distance to the magnificent, recently opened Mission Hills as well as Phuket Country Club and Loch Palm Golf Club. A little further north over the bridge to the mainland and the coastal course of Thai Muang awaits you with the recently extended Navy Course just a further ten minutes beyond. All are very reasonably priced and usually in superb condition.

The sailors aren’t short of opportunities either as also 20 minutes away from your Layan Gardens Residences home you have the choice of three superb marinas (The Yacht Haven, the Boat Lagoon or the Royal Phuket Marina) in which to moor your boat or just enjoy the superb restaurants and facilities whilst taking in the stunning views of the remarkable Phang Nga Bay. Phuket City lies 20 kilometres south and is well worth a visit for its shops, bars, restaurants and olde Phuket architecture and charm!

If you follow the coast road south from Layan Gardens Residences through the local village of Cherngtalay five more minutes will bring you to Surin Beach. Surin is a beautiful beach with a multitude of bars and restaurants serving everything from noodles and fried rice to the finest ‘fine dining’ you will find anywhere in the world. The beautiful beaches of Laem Sing and Kamala are the next ones down the coast and well worth visiting and then through Kalim Bay before you arrive in Patong just 20 minutes after leaving home. Patong has something for absolutely everyone from a superb (if somewhat busy) beach, to fabulous shopping, restaurants, bars, theatres, cinemas and nightlife.

Last but certainly not least Phuket boasts one of the finest international colleges in Asia in The British International School, Phuket. The school is situated just 12 kilometres or 15 minutes easy driving from Layan Gardens Residences. The school has an enviable academic record already and the location and facilities are simply outstanding. Boys and girls from 3 to 18 years can attend either day or boarding school in a multi-cultural environment guaranteed to widen their horizons and give them experiences of cultures and new friends they will remember the rest of their lives. Mainly staffed by British teachers the school largely follows the British Curriculum culminating in the globally accepted International Baccalaureate.
